A top Canadian firm(Nova Scotia Power: Enterprise Asset Management) is seeking an Asset Management Engineer – specializing in Reliability and Performance for the Risk & Reliability Team in Enterprise Asset Management.

In this role as an asset management engineer, you will report to the Asset Performance Manager and be responsible for overseeing asset performance data and essential elements for risk profiles of generation assets across Nova Scotia Power’s fleet.

Your duties will include assisting power production and asset management teams with investment planning, equipment reporting, and the Fuel Adjustment Mechanism.

(10) Skilled in using a computerized maintenance management system and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

(11) Candidates must possess strong communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and knowledge of Plant Maintenance, Plant Operations, or Power Production Engineering.

(12) Proficiency in DirectLine, Maximo, GE APM, Tableau, and/or performance analytics is advantageous. Familiarity with CEA and NERC reporting standards would also be beneficial.
